Scale Model Hobby What Paint Do I Use In My Scale Model? And How Do I Do It?

What paint do i use in my scale model? and how do i do it? - scale model hobby

Currently I am working on a trumpet model. USS North Carolina (scale 1:700). I need ideas to paint like that since I'm still a novice in this hobby. Use acrylic paint and I paint spray can? Is it necessary to use an airbrush? and other advice on painting. Thank you very much

Well, you're a novice, "I really recommend, with acrylic paints instead of glazes.

Tamiya has a large selection of acrylic paints in both formats spray and brush, including paints for ships of the U.S. Navy World War II environment.

I want to buy the base color and the red helmet in aerosols ... for it is really a soft area for both the color and brush marks are in the hull.
Always wash the pub in a little warm water and detergent, then hang to dry ... This cleans the official announcement of silicon compounds mess with paint adhesion.

Spray all parties with a base of gray, while they remain within the drinker, if you can ... Cutting the parts as needed, either with a sharp knife or a matrix "Schneider and clean the edges with a board of Emory sand.

In the models of ships, which often collect weapons (5 ", 40mm, 20mm) and the painting as a" sub "before putting them on the ship.

Work with clean hands, while the structure (the model actually latex gloves or cotton). Be very careful) with the adhesive (cement, plastics, such as overflow soiling or damaging the surface.

I would expect from an airbrush, if this is your first model. I built for almost 8 years before I bought my first ... Of course, I now have 4 of them!

GOOD LUCK.

You can use spray paint and it is not necessary to use an airbrush. Use an airbrush to create the impression of better quality. In addition, the cassette or cover this area who do not want to paint.
